What is the Morpheus8 Laser?
The Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency microneedling treatment to target skin conditions deeper than the surface. Like traditional microneedling, Morpheus8 uses tiny needles to create microchannels in the skin. Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling with Morpheus8 triggers collagen production and allows the radiofrequency energy to reach deeper under the skin.
In experienced hands, the Morpheus8 can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, and large pores. It can also smooth skin texture and reduce some facial fat. At Rejuvenessence, we can use our Morpheus8 technology anywhere on the body.
Most patients choose to have three treatments spaced four to six weeks apart for the best results.
Morpheus8 Laser Benefits

Customizable
The Morpheus8 is fully customizable in the depth of penetration. Depending on your skin's condition and your personal goals, our practitioners can adjust the needle to target closer to the surface or deeper under the skin.
Targets Subcutaneous Fat
As part of the customization, the Morpheus8 can be adjusted to a depth to target fat under the skin. The Morpheus8 can target small amounts of facial fat, such as a double chin, to help restore your confidence in your appearance.
Quick Treatment
Depending on the size of the treatment area, your RF microneedling appointment may only last 15 minutes. Larger areas may take up to an hour, but the process is relatively short.
Short Recovery
You can immediately return to most normal activities after your appointment, but some patients may choose to avoid social situations for approximately three days as their skin recovers. Gentle facial exfoliants and moisturizers can aid in recovery.
Depending on the intensity of your treatment, topical or local anesthetic may be used during a Morpheus8 session to prevent any discomfort. If you feel pain during your treatment, you may request an anesthetic or discuss different forms of topical numbing agents with our practitioners.
While you should be able to return to most normal activities immediately after your appointment, you may wish to avoid some social activities as your skin recovers. Patients can expect redness, itchiness, and mild swelling for one to three days.
Radiofrequency microneedling is a perfect Friday treatment as it allows you to return to work or social activities by Monday without worrying about your appearance. During your recovery, we at Rejuvenessence suggest using skin care products containing beneficial ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and vitamin C to maximize your skin’s rejuvenation. You should also wear SPF 30+ to protect yourself from sun exposure.
Some patients have reported seeing skin tone and texture improvement a few days after their first treatment; however, full results are typically not apparent until three months after a series of treatments. After your final session, you may need annual maintenance appointments to keep the benefits of your RF microneedling.
Most people are ideal candidates for the Morpheus8 laser as it works on all skin types and tones, including olive or brown skin tones. It is an excellent treatment to combine with facelifts and other facial rejuvenation procedures.
